Marketing Internship
The Cancer Project is a collaborative effort of physicians, researchers, and nutritionists who have joined together to educate individuals, families, health professionals, and the public on the benefits of a plant-based diet for cancer prevention and survival. We provide comprehensive educational materials, conduct clinical research studies, and publicize the value of a vegetarian diet.
Our nationwide Food For Life Nutrition & Cooking Classes translate complex scientific research into easy-to-understand lectures and recipes that make cancer-fighting foods deliciously simple. In 2006, we held over 1,800 classes in 25 states and 61 cities across the United States. A recent study funded by the Lance Armstrong Foundation proved that our classes result in significant (15 out of 16) dietary improvements that are important for cancer survival and prevention.
