Frank Biro, M.D., is
professor of pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and director of the division of adolescent medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Biro is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and adolescent medicine. His extensive accomplishments include listings in The Best Doctors in America and Guide to America’s Top Pediatricians. He is also past-president (2007-2008) of the North American Society For Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Dr. Biro is the author of 95 peer-reviewed original studies, 20 reviews, 14 publications, and 17 books. He has given 43 presentations. He has taught at the University of Rochester and Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Biro’s current research focuses on the timing of puberty and its relationship to obesity, including related risks of cancer and other chronic diseases.
