Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and SurvivalClasses in Carefree, Arizona The Lutheran Retreat Center 5/10/08: Immune-Boosting Foods The class will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. To register, call the Scottsdale Healthcare Info Line at 480-882-4636. The blenders used in many of our Food for Life classes were generously donated by the Vita-Mix Corporation. Each class includes a 10-minute nutrition video followed by an hour-long cooking demonstration and sampling of the food prepared. Classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family, and anyone interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating.
