Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and Survival

Know any good cooking teachers?

The Cancer Project’s popular Food for Life cooking class series is still expanding, so we’re looking for help. The series focuses on how a healthy and delicious vegetarian diet can help prevent and treat cancer.

Begun in Washington, D.C., several years ago, the classes can now be found in cities all across the country. As we enter 2006, The Cancer Project is looking for additional instructors to help us reach new communities. We provide training, materials, and a stipend.

If you know a good vegetarian cooking teacher in your area, or if you're interested yourself, please contact Kathy Glisson at 202-244-5038, ext. 352, or kglisson@cancerproject.org.
