Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and Survival

7/09/06: Fueling Up on Low-Fat Foods/Favoring Fiber
7/10/06: Discovering Dairy Alternatives/Replacing Meat
7/11/06: Planning Healthy Meals/Antioxidants and Phytochemicals
7/12/06: Immune-Boosting Foods/Maintaining a Healthy Weight

Classes run from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday 7/09, and from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon-Wed 7/10-7/12.

Each class includes a 10-minute nutrition video followed by an hour-long cooking demonstration and sampling of the food prepared. Classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family, and anyone interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating.
