Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and SurvivalClasses in Jacksonville, Florida Women's Center of Jacksonville Bosom Buddies Support Group 1/28/08: Discovering Dairy Alternatives This class runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. To register, call Coco LaMantia 904-722-3000, ext 224. Publix has generously donated the food for this class. The blenders used in many of our Food for Life classes were generously donated by the Vita-Mix Corporation. Each class includes a 10-minute nutrition video followed by an hour-long cooking demonstration and sampling of the food prepared. Classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family, and anyone interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating.
