Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and Survival

10/30/08: Discovering Dairy Alternatives/Replacing Meat
11/06/08: Planning Healthy Meals/Antioxidants and Phytochemicals
12/04/08: Immune-Boosting Foods/Maintaining a Healthy Weight

The classes will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There is a suggested $20 donation per class to The Cancer Project, a nonprofit organization advancing cancer prevention and survival through nutrition education and research. Donations may be given to the instructor during class.

Each class includes a nutrition video followed by a cooking demonstration and sampling of the food prepared. Classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family, and those interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating.
