Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Class Series for Cancer Prevention and Survival

4/08/08: Fueling Up on Low-Fat Foods/Favoring Fiber
4/15/08: Discovering Dairy Alternatives/Replacing Meat
4/22/08: Planning Healthy Meals/Antioxidants and Phytochemicals
4/29/08: Immune-Boosting Foods/Maintaining a Healthy Weight

Classes will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

The food used in these Food for Life classes was generously donated by Rouses Stores.

The blenders used in many of our Food for Life classes were generously donated by the Vita-Mix Corporation.

Each class includes a 10-minute nutrition video followed by an hour-long cooking demonstration and sampling of the food prepared. Classes are open to cancer survivors, friends, family, and those interested in cancer prevention and healthy eating.
